HIP AND KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY Dr. Kirschenbaum is the lead surgeon of the hip and knee replacement program. He is also an award-winning nationally known surgeon and a previous orthopaedic editor for WebMD. As a leader in the design and techniques of joint replacement surgery, Dr. Kirschenbaum provides his patients with the benefits of the full range of joint replacement options from very small incision surgery to operations on joint replacements that have failed. The goal of joint replacement surgery is to replace the part of the joint that has arthritis, whether that is a hip or a knee. The replacement is made of the highest quality materials approved by the FDA for use in patients. BACK PAIN AND SPINE SURGERY Dr. Joshua Auerbach, Chief, Spine Surgery, is responding to the serious need in the Bronx for a comprehensive back treatment program.
